About the church
Victory Church Bratislava began its ministry in March 2022 with a team of ministers from Ukraine. We are part of Victory churches around the world; the senior pastor is Henry Madava, pastor of Victory Church in Kyiv, Ukraine.
The pastors of Victory Church in Bratislava are Andrey and Elena Polishchuk. For more than 11 years they pastored Victory Church in Mykolaiv, Ukraine.
In 2019 God showed them a new stage in their calling — moving to Bratislava and starting a new church here. The Polishchuk family arrived in Slovakia in the summer of 2021.
Our service to the city
We are a Christian community (Kresťanské spoločenstvo Victory). Our service goes beyond Sunday gatherings: through Victory Centrum we support people who have recently moved to Slovakia — a children's club, psychological and legal help with adaptation, support in finding housing and work, and humanitarian aid as needed. We bring together people of different ages and backgrounds — our doors are open to everyone who finds themselves far from home.

What we do
Every Sunday we gather for worship with preaching, music, and a children's program. During the week, connect groups and ministry teams meet. Through Victory Centrum we help people adapt to life in Slovakia: a children's club, counselling, support finding housing and work, and humanitarian aid.

Pastors of the church
Andrey and Elena have served together for 25 years. Their heart is to see people find God, their family, and their calling. Our doors are open to everyone.
Our language
Why we speak Russian
Victory Bratislava is a church for Russian-speaking people who came to Slovakia from many different countries. Today Russian is the bridge that unites us all: everyone still settling into a new country can hear about God in a language they understand and feel at home.
Why not Ukrainian? Our church is one big mixed family from many countries, and Russian remains the common language everyone understands. For those who prefer another language, live translation is available during the service.
We're looking ahead: as we put down roots in Slovakia, our church will increasingly sound in Slovak too — to become a home for Slovaks and for the next generation.
How it began
- 2019
The calling. God placed a dream in the hearts of a team of ministers — a church in the heart of Europe.
- 2021
Moving to Bratislava. The family and first co-workers begin ministry in a new place.
- March 2022
The first Victory Church service in Bratislava. A small beginning of a great journey.
